Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 1

Segment: College students who are makeup enthusiasts

Summary of interviews: In the three interviews that I conducted, they all said that they usually have the problem at night after removing their makeup. Sometimes they use makeup remover wipes, and it doesn't completely take off all of the makeup so the eyelash glue would still be on the lash line. They usually wear the false lashes when they go out with their friends. They are really tired by the end of the night and have to clean the stubborn eyelash glue later in the morning. They all said that they don't look for a solution so they just pick at the glue until it comes off, but it concerns them because of the natural lashes' health.

Conclusions: This segment is very aware of this need. However, I think they are lazy and don't want to look for a solution to remove the eyelash glue.

  1. I feel like you have to consider that a lot of your customer base might be drunk when doing this. You’re looking at college students who are taking off makeup at night. So, try to incorporate some innovation that would make it easier for drunk people to easily remove their eyelashes. That innovation would really take your idea over the edge.
